@Jeremy-Pillon Basic debugging on these is to disconnect all peripherals, and connect a logic level serial port or USB converter to the console serial and see what if anything is printed during the boot attempt. Permanent damage, while possible, is much less likely than mixed up software state.

I have the two little holes in the golden metal strips too, but no solder as you do. Btw, your photos are really sharp for the size! Nicely done! There's a component soldered sideways near the SD card connector edge, the edge opposite to the card entrance. Not sure if it's connected or not because it's darker there.

@Guest You can use the Reset button once you have connected the Omega to the USB cable and opened the serial port, in the exact same way that you would use the power switch to turn the unit on. The same U-boot prompt will then show up with the 3 second interrupt window, a few seconds after you have pressed the Reset switch. Gabe

@gosch Yep, @Luciano-S is correct, you need to firmly press in the Omega into the Mini Dock so the pins are not visible: You can check the Omega pin-out diagram for specifics of which pin is the reset pin: https://wiki.onion.io/Documentation/Hardware/Pinout-Diagram Note that the reset is Active High. I suspect that since your Omega was not fully plugged into the dock, there was no voltage applied to the reset pin and it was never carried out. If you're connected to the Omega via the serial terminal, you should see

Hi @john-b, Yes, there is a way for you to "make" your own ethernet expansion, however it is going to require some hacking, especially since you do not have expansion dock. The Arduino Dock does not break out any pins from the Omega itself, so as fas as flashing the Omega goes, it won't be able to contribute much. You should be able to find all the information on how to make your own Ethernet Expansion in the following two posts: https://community.onion.io/topic/130/debrick-with-serial/ https://community.onion.io/topic/157/reflash-omega-without-ethernet/2 Since you do not have an Expansion Dock, I have also attached the pinout diagram of the Omega by itself, which you will need to correctly connect the ethernet pins onto the breadboard.
